Angie

My name is Angie, and I am the registered dental hygienist at Pearl Dental NYC. Growing up, I would go on weekly trips to the supermarket to get all sorts of sugary drinks and snacks. Reflecting back, this might have been one of the reasons why I was at the dentist so often. All these dental visits sparked my initial interest in dentistry. When I got to college, I explored different career paths and ultimately came to the decision that I wanted to pursue a career in dental hygiene after obtaining my Bachelors of Arts in Biochemistry. Oral health education was never something that I received. The nature of being able to help others improve their overall health with the knowledge I acquired is extremely rewarding, and I am constantly reassured that I have made the correct decision to become a dental hygienist. 

At Pearl Dental NYC, everyone is passionate about their role in the office. We work together as a team to ensure that all of our patients are well taken care of. Outside of the office, my hobbies include binge watching comedy or reality TV shows, baking, and learning to cook new recipes.
